Advice for Churches Looking to Expand

Pastor Aaron Henning of State College Alliance Church reflects on his experience with his church’s construction project. When asked what advice he’d give to other churches looking to expand, he says to balance big faith and stewardship, understand that it’s a process, anticipate challenges, and get the right voices in the room.

“That happens at the local level, getting the right people from your congregation, but it absolutely happens when you’re looking for the right builder, designer, or in this case design-build team that can come and walk you through this process,” shares Henning.

“You’ve got to find that right partner if you’re going to have a good, successful project.”
